Kununurr, Wyndham, Halls Creek
We are seeking a GP to work in a private GP practice in the East Kimberley region of WA. The practice provides a range of high quality health care services to the residents of Kununurra, Wyndham, Halls Creek and extended communities.
This role could be a permanent position and the GP located in the region, or if preferred it could be approached as a Fly In Fly Out FIFO role where the GP’s time would be split between this job and a job in a metro location. The role could also involve the possibility of doing some telehealth if this is something the GP would be interested in doing.
The conditions and services offered by this impressive medical facility are very attractive. A high percentage of the consults are privately billed, patient demand is very high, and there are additional rural incentives of $25,000 per year. If you have a special interest in working in Aboriginal Medical Services then this will be supported.
Furthermore, GPs working under 19AB/moratorium can reduce their moratorium by half depending on their length of tenure.
It is estimated that the income will be around $230,000 per year full time and with the $25K incentive on top, the package is very good!
